LocalMaps 2.2 was released in April 2019. It includes the following features and enhancements:

Viewer

  • Ability to buffer a drawing added to Draw / Measure widget.
  • Layer List widget updated to latest version. This now allows for filtering of layers. 
  • Support for uploading GPX and CSV via the Add Data widget for those using LocalMaps against Portal for ArcGIS.
  • Ability to buffer a selection added to the Select widget.
  • Print preview window added to Print widget.
  • Draw / Measure widget now allows for continuous editing.
  • Name drawings to help distinguish between them when selecting/deleting/exporting.
  • LocalMaps Viewer upgraded to Web AppBuilder 2.11

Administration

Datasources

  • Datasources are validated to ensure they are functioning as expected before trying to use in LocalMaps.
  • Admins can define the height of the Viewer Icon. 

Maps & Apps

  • New widgets will be disabled by default after an upgrade. This allows administrators to actively enable new functionality when ready. 
  • Each map can have a specific group set for the Add Data widget. All maps that do not have a group actively set here will take the default group set in the LocalMaps Widget Settings page.
  • Enable a disclaimer (splash screen) per map. All maps that do not have this enabled will take the default set in the LocalMaps Widget Settings.
  • Reorder how Feature Orders appear in the popup panel.
  • Feature queries can be added to multiple layers.

Feature Queries

  • Build hyperlinks to add to feature queries. These can be created either by appending value from database to a hyperlink e.g $value$, where the alias becomes the link text or by constructing a new hyperlink i.e by adding in a new virtual field.
  • Build your own Direct SQL queries

RAMM (NEW)

  • Admins can create a hosted feature layer in Portal or ArcGIS Online that pulls data directly from a RAMM Service URL.
  • Layer is then synchronized to pull in any adds, updates or deletes on a scheduled basis.

Reporting

  • Set fixed scale for Maps added to reports

  • Reporting now supports vector basemaps

Searches

  • Search against multiple fields in a layer or database

  • Define number of suggestions returned from a search

  • Configure the popup that is returned when a search is complete. This can be either pulling in the popup that has been set in the webmap or by building a custom popup (BETA feature).

  • Order searches alphabetically.

Settings

  • Ability to define the Item types filtered into the gallery
  • Set Print Layout URL to utilize Print Preview Window for the Print Widget.
  • Admins can change the default map title for Map prints. 

General

  • Updates made to enforce TLS 1.2 for http requests

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed issue in Add Data widget when if the Header font colour is set to white this would prevent user from seeing dataset details.
  • Fixed issue in Analytics Tab where Users table would overflow.
  • Fixed various Draw / Measure widget issues
  • Fixed issue where error logs where not showing up.
  • Fixed issue where errors were being logged against a future time.
  • Fixed issue where admins were unable to delete new spatial feature query.
  • Fixed issue in Database feature queries where alias's could not be edited. 
  • Fixed issue where feature gueries could not be added to more than one map layer
  • Fixed issue where changes to categories and links orders would not save.  
  • Fixed issue in IoT Layers where ArcGIS Credentials were not being accepted as expected.
  • Fixed issue in IoT Layers where deleted sites were not being removed from display until refreshed.
  • Fixed issue in IoT Layers where site were not being highlighted on the preview map.
  • Fixed issue where selecting maps to use in Enterprise Sites caused all maps to reorder in wizard.
  • Fixed issue in Print widget where legend order was coming out reversed in the Print Details panel. 
  • Fixed issue in Print widget where the legend tree was generating the wrong IDs.
  • Fixed issue where Query Parameters were not being generated or saved.
  • Fixed issue where Splash Screen was prompting in the viewer even if it was disabled in the LocalMaps Settings.
  • Fixed issue where Print Layout Url was not being pushed to the config.json file.
  • Fixed issue in the Basemap Widget where it did not update when the group was changed in the LocalMaps Settings.
  • Fixed issue where setting the Start Date -- End Date did not work as expected in Analytics
  • Numerous CSS fixes and UI/UX enhancements.
