This section allows administrators to configure the types of categories that are available to be selected from in the left-hand panel of the gallery page. The administrator can add, edit, and delete categories in this customisation page. For a map or app to appear in a category, add the category title as a tag to the item in ArcGIS Online.

Adding a Category
To add a new category, enter the name of the category in the textbox and click “Add”. The new category should be added to the list of categories and will appear in the Categories panel of the Gallery page.

Editing a Category
To edit an existing category, click on the textbox you wish to edit within the Category list. Edit the category name and click out of the textbox to confirm the change.

Deleting a Category
To delete a category from the list, click on the “Delete” button next to the category you wish to delete. The category will be removed from the list and will not appear in the Categories panel of the Gallery Page.

Ordering Category List
To reorder the categories list, click the dotted icon to the left of the category name. You can then drag and drop the category to another position in the list.
