The Mailing List (otherwise know as the out-of-the-box Public Notification widget) is a tool that allows staff to identify a collection of properties and create mailing labels, or a structured text file, of owners and occupants.
This type of workflow might typically be used by planning and zoning departments, but it can be used by any organization looking to notify property owners or occupants of a formal action being taken.
This widget is integrated into the LocalMaps Feature actions workflow.
Use the Mail List widget
1. Select or search for a feature in the map.
2. From the results in the popup / popup panel, click the Feature Actions ellipsis and choose Create Mailing List.
3. Choose a format for the labels from the drop-down.
