Technical Requirements

Ahead of any LocalMaps implementation, organisations are required to complete a Technical Tick List. This is to ensure the necessary technical components are installed prior to the project implementation. This list will vary for internal and external uses – and Eagle as part of the implementation, will provide any assistance required to ensure that the environment is ready for LocalMaps installation.

LocalMaps 3.x relies on configuration from a v2.3.2 LocalMaps site. From this, customers must either already have v2.3.2 installed and configured or can have v2.3.2 installed as part of the 3.x implementation.

Installation Requirements

Once v2.3.2 is installed, LocalMaps 3.x installation can commence. The 3.x application is dependant on this version and is to be installed on the same domain & subdomain as the classic 2.3.2 application. LocalMaps Beta is to be installed on a Test or Dev environment only.

System Requirements

LocalMaps 3.x is a static web application that has the following system requirements:

Internet connection
Web Server
IIS 7.5
SSL Certificates (for HTTPS access)

Safari

LocalMaps 3.x supports the oldest supported version of ArcGIS Enterprise.
